When you are buying or selling a treasure, you want to work with someone who understands treasures. Over the years, the tapestry of Jan’s career has been woven and bound by a common thread – working with people who have trusted her with the treasures of their lives, their families, and their dreams.
Relatively new to real estate, Jan is not new to championing people to their destinations. As a 30-year resident of Kitsap County, Jan knows the turf well, and she brings to her clients a love of people, questions, and an automatic thinking outside of the box. If it is important to someone, Jan is willing to do what others don’t even consider, to help them accomplish their goals. Jan’s entrepreneurial career is threaded with work alongside CEO’s of Fortune 500 companies, leadership development and executive coaching, market research, at-risk populations, and non-profit agency development. All of these endeavors have required a sense of urgency, integrity and creativity, which carry forward into her work and play in the real estate world.
On a personal note, Jan was a working, single mom, before she empty-nested. Regardless of the day ahead, every morning began with family breakfast. A core value for Jan is that every single person’s life matters and her family is the rule in that belief. She has a lifelong commitment to volunteer work, and has served on numerous non-profit boards, as well as in epic national crises. Instinctively a teacher, she is also an insatiable inquirer.
To help people with their treasures, one needs to be able to ask the right question, at the right time, of the right people. Jan is not bashful about asking questions. Inquiry, enthusiasm and right action-right reason are trademarks of how you can expect Jan to show up for you.
