Kingston

Kingston, on the shore of Appletree Cove, is a 30 minute ferry ride to Edmonds which is just north of Seattle. Know as the “Little City by the Sea”, Kingston is the northern gateway to the Kitsap Peninsula and the Olympic National Park and Forest. 100 years ago it was a bustling lumber town; now it is the social and economic center for the North end of the Peninsula. Kingston features its own community center, theater groups, a quaint shopping district, an independent movie theater and wonderful restaurants. The marina, within walking distance to town, has 40 guest slips and shower and laundry facilities. The town has one of the best Farmer’s Markets held on Saturday’s April through mid October at the Port of Kingston Marina next to the ferry dock. With amazing views of the Puget Sound, Cascade Mountains and Mt. Rainier Kingston is a one of a kind place to live.
